Obiettivi formativi | Il Corso introduce lo studente alla comprensione dei meccanismi e dei fenomeni che sono alla base delle patologie umane. |
Prerequisiti | Lo studente del corso di Patologia Generale e Fisiopatologia endocrina deve aver seguito i corsi d'obbligo e aver acquisito le nozioni propedeutiche. L'accesso all'esame è regolato dal superamento degli esami propedeutici, secondo quanto stabilito dal Consiglio di Corso di Laurea. |
Metodologie didattiche | Il Corso sarà svolto mediante lezioni frontali in Lingua Italiana con l'ausilio di 'slides' o altro materiale informatico. |
Metodi di valutazione | Esame orale. La prova d’esame sarà basata sulla comprensione dei percorsi logici, e su domande dove sarà richiesta la conoscenza adeguata di patologie trattate nel corso delle lezioni. |
Altre informazioni | 'E prevista una prova in itinere basata su domande di Patologia generale sugli argomenti del corso a cui lo studente dovrebbe essere in grado di rispondere solo avendo seguito le lezioni. La prova ha lo scopo di valutare l'apprendimento i aula e non è propedeutica per l'esame. Course objectives | The learning goals of this integrated Course include the knowledge of exogenous and endogenous causes of diseases and of the mechanisms of disease, biological defense, reaction to cell and tissue damage, tissue responses, regeneration and repair, together with their principal alterations, with attention also to cell transformation and neoplasia. The course’s aim is to allow the students to learn on aspects of cell pathology and of the alterations of the integrated functions of tissues, organs and systems, which may turn useful in the technical setting. Acquiring such knowledge and expertise will allow the students to address complex professional issues with a critical attitude and with the ability to obtain and interpret autonomously relevant scientific information. |
Prerequisites | To attend the course, the students will need to have a well-established background as specifically indicated by The Council of the TLBM school respecting preparatory activities where it applies. |
Teaching methods | Teaching techniques: Lectures in Italian language by using slides and other informatic materials. |
Evaluation methods | Oral test. The exam will be based on an understanding of the logical paths and on questions where appropriate knowledge of the diseases treated during the lessons will be required. |
Other information | There is an ongoing test based on questions go general Pathology on the topics of the course to which the students should be able to respond after having followed the lessons. The test is designed to evaluate the classroom learning and is not preliminary to the exam. It also includes a 'suggestions field' in which the student can indicate any problems or indications for a better course. |
